Richard Leigh - Group Development Director
Richard joined Lanes in late 2011 with a demonstrable track record in new business development, account management, sales and marketing planning, strategy development, sales force management and motivation, and financial management within large corporate companies across multi sectors.
Richard’s brief was to develop a stable sales growth plan for the next 10 years. Drawing on his technical, analytical, management and commercial skills, Richard has established clear objectives for structured expansion of the customer base, whilst also delivering an IT system to enable analysis of that customer base, via a CRM platform which is accessible throughout the organisation.
At the heart of the blueprint is a focus on core markets where Lanes has an enviable reputation for top class delivery, and, at the same time, enabling the business to move into new, fast-moving and demanding markets that require the ultimate in customer focus. This dual approach will be paramount to Lanes Group’s continued success and development.
Richard came to Lanes from MWH, a multi-disciplinary consultancy in the utility, rail and highways sectors.
